Mr. John Underwood Esq., his partners, and staff have restored my trust in the legal process. They turned a bad situation that lasted for years and in a couple of month made everything right. I can't thank them enough for helping me sleep better at night.

Was referred to Mr. Underwood by Legalshield and I spoke with him on the phone about my situation with my landlord and he gave me no help in this matter and said I might get evicted. Instead of representing me, he dismissed me as if I was a nobody. Do not recommend

John is truly the best, he walked me through process of my case so seamlessly. Any questions I had, he answered with ease. He even went as far as checking up on me and sending updates in a timely manner. Exceptional isn’t even the word, he made sure I had everything I needed to be successful in my auto injury case! Would 10/10 recommend!

As a plaintiff did hire Underwood but he did work for defendant against me. Did charge me about triple amount of the approximate estimated cost. Did work very hard checking me if I'm lying, but did tolerate ridiculously excessive defendant's lie in court (about half of defendant's testimony was lie even if I did have profs). On purpose didn't submit most important document to the court which did impact judgement. Was very stressfull experience. Such person shouldn't belong to legal field. I did trust his reviews and Leagal Sheald to hire this person.

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Child custody: I spent $2700 on what was initially described as an open and shut case for my request to be denied. Lawyer was 30 mins late to the court house, did not contact group I was in touch with despite my requests to become knowledgeable in the case. Even my small request was denied. My hired lawyer informed me of the judge decision then argued with me about my requests even though he knew what I was fighting for Spend your money elsewhere. Other than reminding my ex to make payments on time not much was resolved and my daughter and I are out $2700

What do you call a thousand lawyers at the bottom of the ocean.......A good start! That is so true but the exception to that joke is John Underwood from Underwood & Micklin. I unfortunately had a case from personal injury and I chose him as my lawyer from a friend who had used him in the past.
