Blake and his entire team at Universal Law are simply AMAZING. In October of 2024 I found myself needing to hire a lawyer to represent me in our custody/parenting plan. Living in Tennessee, I wasn’t familiar with any firms or Washington Laws. After some research and calling several firms I ended up with another firm. After having paid them thousands of dollars and with our case already moving forward they ended up having to drop me as a client due to a “conflict of interest” on their end. Again I found myself at the beginning needing to find a lawyer with months into my case. I found Blake and when I called my first encounter was with Alejandra. Let me start by saying that Blake, Alehandra, and the rest of the team were kind and direct throughout the entire process. Money was a concern for me, and they took the time to walk me through everything step by step. Having never been through this before, my goal was 50/50 custody — and they helped me achieve that goal. Understand that cases involve a lot of give and take, and it’s best to stay as kind as possible to the other party — unless Blake advises otherwise. They truly know the system. It isn’t perfect, but it’s always better to negotiate before going to trial. Blake and his team guided me through every step, and with their help, I was able to regain 50/50 custody of my child. Mr. Harris is an exceptional attorney. He responded right away to my first inquiry (not to imply it's the standard expectation, but it was actually within an hour in my case) and that level of communication persisted throughout the duration of my contract with him, through his paralegal but also directly from Blake. - He is knowledgeable and experienced, and he also was honest with me even when it was not what I would've liked to hear- which made me trust him more than anything. If you’re reading this you must be in search of an attorney. With a million percent confidence I would tell you to hire Blake. While Blake did not personally represent me, little did he know that I was along for the ride while he helped our son William through a stressful divorce and parenting plan. Blake is an absolute impeccable person, he is every bit of kind and sincerely patient. He listens to every word being said, never talks at you and is genuinely on your side. Our son originally went with a firm in which billed him outrageously with nothing to show for that lost time resulting horribly given advice and gross debt. That unnamed incompetent firm, also provides a great sales pitch then ships you off to an assigned remote attorney that is ultimately there to run up the bill and string you along with false promises. He thankfully fired them and found Blake which was an absolute game changer. He is strategic, highly intelligent and was always available for our son which was invaluable.
