My experience has been good. From the beginning, it's very important to discuss all the issues and doubts with the lawyer and then with his or her assistant in order to receive the attention we need. As everywhere, you have to be patient, find the right communication channels, such as phone and email, and insist because they have many cases and many clients, but they always have an answer.

Horrible lawyer, will waste your money and time and get your case denied due to their mistakes and unprofessionalism they only care about the money not about your legal status or your case. This lawyer and his employees are just horrible irresponsible people who shouldn’t be trusted .

Hi Estefania,
At VAMOS Law Group, we take all feedback seriously and are committed to serving our clients with respect, transparency, and care.

We do want to clarify that the decision in your case was based on underlying factors outside of our control, not the work or effort provided by your case manager. Throughout your case, our team went above and beyond to support you — we filed a motion to appeal on your behalf completely free of charge, as well as, provided you with a letter of representation to assist with your matter.

Additionally, any time you called with questions or concerns, you were always assisted by your case manager, the office administrator, or the attorney, ensuring that your needs were addressed promptly.

Following the decision on your case, you also spoke directly with the attorney, who advised you on the next legal steps that would best suit your situation.

At VAMOS Law Group, our priority has always been — and continues to be — supporting our clients and our community with honesty, compassion, and integrity.

— Valdez, Monarrez, & San Miguel

Very bad service, they moved to a different city without informing me since we had a case with them, they never answer the phone and when they do it's Conchis, the secretary who never has an answer because all she can say is... I don't know, I'm just the secretary, when we went to immigration we realized that the vaccines were expired which they never informed us, all of this delayed the process and they didn't even contact me after a month, this is ridiculous, not at all professional and too expensive. Please I recommend that you don't risk using their services, the truth is they always say that one should look for a professional but this one was very unprofessional.

Response from owner

Dear Evangelina,
Thank you for sharing your comment. We value your opinion and would like to address the concerns you have raised. Due to the confidentiality of your case, we cannot discuss the specific details of the process, but we are happy to provide clarification on the points you have raised.

We understand that the closure of our Houston office was an unexpected inconvenience and we regret that it affected your experience. Please note that a notice regarding the office changes was sent directly to your last registered home address, and at that time, you were given the option to discontinue our services if you were not satisfied with the transfer of your file.

We also acknowledge your concerns about Conchis, our receptionist. As a receptionist, she is not authorized to offer legal advice, nor is she involved in the process of your case. However, every time you contacted us with questions or requests for updates regarding your husband's case, we made sure to schedule an appointment with an attorney to address your needs.

Regarding your husband's USCIS interview, we offered to send him to a local attorney in Houston at no additional cost, but you declined. As you know, we are unable to open the medical examination documents, as they are sent sealed to immigration. Unfortunately, this meant we were unaware that the medical examinations had expired at the time of the interview. Once we received the application in the mail, we contacted you immediately. Please understand that we have no control over the time it takes USCIS to mail the documents.

We regret that you were not completely satisfied with our services, but we are pleased to hear that we were able to obtain approval in your husband's case. Congratulations on this important achievement!

Thank you again for your comment.

We went through like 4 paralegals and they would never answer calls after receiving the initial deposit. It was a hassle getting a hold of them because of the constant change in staff. Also since they don’t specialize in a certain area they’re not “experts”. They insisted that you couldn’t show self-support. That was probably part true before DACA.

I just hope my case doesn’t gets denied because of all the mistakes your assistant made ..and not double checking the information before sending it.. oh but the secretary does make sure to let you know that if you don’t make the payments you are breaking the contract..

Very very unprofessional had a bad experience, my husband had an over the phone consultation for 1 hour with the lawyer, we then scheduled to meet in person at his office located in Brownsville drove an hour and a half just to show up for him to say he had no recollection of speaking to us.

Mrs. Ramírez, Due to privacy issues, it is our policy not to discuss cases through this medium. Please provide us with your phone number through an inbox message, and we will set up an appointment with one of our attorneys to discuss your case. We hope we can resolve this matter expeditiously and to your satisfaction. Thank you.
