My experience with the initial intake process at Valli Kane fell significantly short of the professional standards expected from a law firm handling sensitive plaintiff matters. Despite providing a generous grace period for my scheduled 5:00 PM consultation, the intake representative called significantly late. The primary issue, however, was the conduct during the call itself. The representative repeatedly interrupted and spoke over me, refusing to let me finish providing the exact factual information she was requesting. When I politely asked why she was constantly interrupting, she completely ignored the inquiry and continued the behavior. After the call was unexpectedly disconnected, the representative left a voicemail instructing me to call back. When I returned the call, she answered, left the phone off the hook while speaking to someone else in the background for several minutes, and then disconnected the line. My subsequent attempts to call back went entirely unanswered. The intake desk is the critical first point of contact for individuals seeking legal intervention. An intake process that involves constant interruptions, ignoring direct client questions, and leaving callers on open lines before hanging up represents a severe communication breakdown. For a potential plaintiff requiring reliable, time-sensitive legal assistance, this level of initial service is a massive operational liability. I strongly advise potential clients to reconsider another firm with a level-headed and cohesive intake team, because this is an insanely big strategic and legal liability having someone like that manning the comms. Edit: I noticed that in other reviews, they've attacked people who have had bad experiences with them and have called them liars. I wanted to wait until they behaved predictably to post the call log and proof. Lmao and they give me way too much credit saying I'm fabricating anything. It's Flattering even. It's just easier to air it out as-is. There's no mental bandwidth to use since it's simply true. Like dude you literally have the same exact call logs as I do. That 1 minute call wasn't exchanging what we ate at Christmas dinner, it was literally her leaving the phone off the hook and hanging up on me.

The hold music sounded like someone’s personal R&B playlist, not the kind of neutral, professional music expected from a law office, which immediately felt off‑putting During the intake call, the staff member repeatedly talked over me while I was trying to explain my situation, instead of letting me finish my story or ask questions, which came across as dismissive and disrespectful. When I asked to speak with a supervisor about how I was being treated, I was told “the only supervisor is the attorney,” and my request was met with defensiveness rather than any attempt to resolve the issue or take my concern seriously. When I called back hoping to reach someone else and report the interaction, the same person answered, doubled down, and again refused to escalate the issue, even after I made clear I would hold her accountable. Based on this experience, I did not feel listened to, respected, or confident that my case would be handled with care, so I chose not to hire this firm and would encourage others to pay close attention to how they are treated from the very first call. Instead of addressing my experience, they chose to attack my character in a Google reply, which confirmed my concerns about their professionalism. The intake specialist was asking a bunch of stupid questions that was not related to my case and then proceeded to ask me for my evidence which I submitted to them. Then a few days later, they claimed they could not help me. Meanwhile they are running ADs.
