The lawyers at this firm are really rude and do not conduct themselves professionally. They assume they have all the facts, (especially Alisha Maline), when in reality, they have no idea what they are talking about because they were not there when the incident took place. They're only going off what their client told them. They also council clients to do motions to dismiss for every hearing, (which never work), and also give the opposing side the opportunity to amend the compliant and ask for more money, which they then will whine about later, when the motion to dismiss was their idea in the first place.

Nathan Heyde at Varner & Brandt was extremely responsive and helpful when I reached out regarding a lease matter. My girlfriend and I used this firm to settle a personal loan matter which was around $40k. The only thing that the attorney from this firm did was charge us. No value. When I questioned the charges he sent an email saying he was no longer going to represent her. Imagine that. A sensitive attorney offended that someone asked why so many charges. At the end we paid around $12000 and got nothing. As usual attorneys line up the firms pocket and lie to customers. They will tell you that you have a good case and that they can settle and get your money. As you question the charges they say things like “ I don’t see you paying anymore then you already have , maybe another $1000 to $1500. I believe this will be the last of it “!! And then they charge you again. I’m disgusted as to him dropping our case via an email and my girlfriend blamed me and I apologized to appease her to this scum. We used this firm because the lawyer spoke mandarin. But I think that’s all he could do. We just got another bill from these guys for close to $400. Case was $36000. They so far have charged us close to 13k. In the beginning they whispered sweet nothings in our ears. At the end they advise you to decide on your own if he case is worth pursuing anymore. What they are saying essentially is that they can’t settle this case or get our money and they’ve made enough money from us. One review for 5 stars. Probably from a partner in the firm. My girlfriend picked them without doing her homework. I rather get hit by a truck and use Larry H Parker !! Do Not Use this firm. No integrity. No empathy. I spoke to the attorney my girlfriend chose. He couldn’t put a sentence together. He would be better off as a tour guide but I doubt it.
