… interacting with her was just was confusing overall. I was questioned a lot but she already made her stance on the matter before court after a phone convo with me which was very detailed. She rolled her eyes at me the entire interaction at court and arrived late. My situation is unique because I deal with a covert abuser and she paid more attention to my reaction to the claims of abuse towards my child vs the actual facts in my opinion or at least that is how it felt. Each time I brought up something she would say “ you’re only mentioning that now “ … which was untrue. I mentioned many incidents over the phone and I wrote them on her questionnaire which I’m not sure she ever even read.

Not at all a advocate for children. She ignored obvious signs and even testimony from my children based off of their experience. She does whatever is easiest for her and I encourage anyone that has her assigned as your GAL to document everything. Do not recommend.

It's disheartening to encounter a lawyer who exhibits a lack of diligence and thorough investigation in their work especially when kids are involved. In legal matters, attention to detail and a commitment to uncovering facts are paramount. Unfortunately, Paris Veillard seem to fall short in this regard. She is the guardian ad litem for my goddaughter, the kid lived with me two years and there was no contact or check up from her until I reached out first. Paris did not respond until weeks later. She displays qualities of idleness, deceit, and dishonesty. The primary concern does not seem to be the well-being of the children; rather, it appears to revolve around presenting a fabricated narrative convincingly to the judge so she just can go on with her day. Today, I observed her providing inaccurate information to the judge regarding the child's location, I mean straight up lie. I entrusted the child's care to her aunt, with whom I maintain regular communication to check on the child. The aunt has been the primary caregiver since August 15th. However, during the court proceedings, the opposing party claimed that the child is residing with her brother and significant other, sharing a room with another teenage boy. This assertion is far from the truth and is a cause for concern. The absence of the child's belongings in that room should have been evident. There's no doubt that this case will return to trouble her. It's not a matter of 'if,' but rather 'when' the next situation arises concerning the child or something happens to her I will ensure it is directed publicly every way possible to her guardian ad litem Veillard Law Office.

Paris is lazy just like others mentioned, she showed up to court almost a hour late, she never responds to calls messages or emails. She called me once, she never visited my home as she was ordered to do. She spoke with the other party multiple times along with home visits. I’m almost sure they knew each other personally !!!! The courts shouldn’t use her to be a GAL!!! Oh not to mention she set the zoom up 3 days before court when it was ordered 6 months prior……

She helped my family with a custody issue that could have been very ugly if it had went to court. She was extremely open/honest and unbiased towards all parties involved. She is thorough and knowledgeable about the law. She wants what is best for the child or children involved. She was a pleasure to work with and I would want her representing me/my child or any of my family members. She will fight for what is right and that is so hard to find nowadays. Thank you...Lucas and I may not be together if it were not for you.

Response from owner

Thank you very much for your kind, encouraging words.

She is lazy with her investigation as a guardian in a custody case. She spoke with the mother by appointment numerous times. Spoke with the father without an appointment as he got home from work for 10-15 minutes. She did no further investigation of character for either parent. Spoke to the court biased against the father. She lacks investigative skills to present an unbiased case to the court. At least in our case she did....ALLEGEDLY “. If you are a father, look for someone who specializes in paternal custody law.
