I called and spoke with Scott about an issue I was having with an ex employee. This was after I spoke to several other lawyers that had my head spinning with their talk of fees and potential outcomes. Scott took the time not only for one call but I believe I called around 5 times to ask more questions and get advice. I even tried to give him a retainer because he was so helpful and I wanted him to be paid for his time. He would not allow me to place a retainer at that time because he did not feel it was necessary. He advised me when the time came he would be happy to accept the retainer if necessary but again did not feel like at this time it was needed. Back to the calls with other attorneys. The majority of them were speaking of retainer costs before providing any information other than scare tactics. If or when I need an employer defense lawyer I will definitely be reaching out to Scott for the job.
