I am sharing my personal experience with Nancy Corsones so that anyone considering hiring her or working with her professionally understands the long-term consequences her decisions can have on families. My experience with her began in a custody case when my son was very young. If you’re questioning my credibility, I encourage you to read the 2016 Seven Days article titled “Court Finds Abuse Claims Baseless but a Mom Still Can’t See Her Son” by Ken Picard. It outlines part of what happened. Over the years, I complied with every legal order, told the truth, and presented clear evidence — including findings from multiple law enforcement agencies and medical professionals. Despite all of this, Ms. Corsones made decisions that kept me separated from my son, even though the accusations against me were thoroughly investigated and found to be false by agencies including Homeland Security, a Special Investigations Unit, and the FBI. One of the most distressing aspects of my experience was her refusal to acknowledge critical mistakes — even when presented with medical proof. At one point, she disregarded the medical opinion of my board-certified OB-GYN and accused me, without basis, of causing harm during pregnancy. When I obtained genetic testing to disprove the accusation, rather than correcting the record, she became adversarial. Even after her rulings were reversed by a higher court, she continued to act as if they were valid. Ultimately, the impact of her choices has been permanent: my adult son is estranged from me and believes harmful falsehoods, despite the fact that I was never charged or convicted of any crime. The damage done by prolonged separation and misinformation is irreparable. Now that my son is grown and outside of the legal system, I’m finally free to speak out. I hope this review helps others make informed decisions when choosing legal professionals. My experience with Ms. Corsones was devastating, and I would not wish it on anyone.

Wendy was the best choice I could have made for myself to be my representation during my legal journey. I had never gone through a divorce before, let-alone any legal process. Wendy is not only incredibly intelligent, but she's concise, no-nonsense, to the point, and efficient. She does not waste time, was and is always in communication with me to ensure I am privy to the process every step along the way. Wendy has not only been my representation, but she's been my backbone throughout, and is able to show me the forest through the trees in what is already an emotional process for myself. I was able to put full trust and confidence in her collaborative decision making with myself, while she was aware that I was coping with the emotional side of it all. The divorce process is never easy (not that I can imagine, anyway). However, knowing that Wendy was going through this process with me made me feel supported, empowered and strong. She was always in my corner, prompt with decision making and information gathering, and always in communication with me. I could never have done this without her. Not only did I end this journey with a positive result (and a quick one at that), but I now feel stronger for it thanks to Wendy's presence and guidance.

Both Nancy and Wendy are extremely knowledgeable, forthcoming and financially reasonable in handling your legal needs. Not only do they offer the necessary professional acumen; they are both extremely caring, empathetic and supportive. These traits in legal counsel are necessary when navigating the long and painful process of divorce. Thank you both!

Wendy Fitzimons should be in your corner regardless of your legal woes. She was instrumental in ferrying me through an emotionally difficult divorce. Even when I was ready to just sign away everything, she stood up and fought for me to ensure that I didn't lose everything I had worked my entire life for and wind up destitute. Her demeanor is warm and caring and she takes a genuine interest in the human side of her cases. I consider myself very fortunate to have found Wendy and that she was able and willing to take my case.

Wendy Fitzsimons could not have anticipated how difficult my divorce case would be, when I walked into her office. I was nervous about pursing this course of action but her warmth and confidence helped me make the decision to retain her. From our first meeting, she explained everything to me in terms I could understand. On the darkest days she gave me reason to hope. I came to rely heavily on her judgement and depth of knowledge of family law and legal matters in general. She was unafraid to tackle the toughest scenario thrown our way, all the while maintaining her professionalism and her equanimity. She was always very responsive when I had questions and never undermined my concerns. Nancy Corsones, her partner at the law firm, gave me sound advice and encouragement. I am deeply indebted to them.
