Kelley Cash from Wake Family Law was able to assist me in my custody case with my children, and I could not recommend her enough! The circumstances that require you to hire a family lawyer are never happy or joyous, but you want somebody who is going to fight for you, advise you, be responsible with your budgets, is prompt and responsive, and that is exactly what you get with Kelley. She was the perfect addition to my team and helped me navigate this process and reach a resolution without having to go all the way to trial! Katie & Caitlin were very helpful and responsive to me. They handled my case with professionalism at all times. They were able to go back 32 years to find documents filed in Wake County courts, which greatly accelerated the case to closure. I gave only 4 stars because I felt their fees were a little high, but I don't have much recent experience with attorneys to know what a competitive fee is in 2025.

Be weary of Lawyer S.Gibson. This is a woman who made things up to my ex husband so she could get more billable hours, period. She told him my lawyer was doing my case as a “favor” which wasn’t true. Said we had an agreement with signatures (the day before court) but still had us sitting there in court all day— instead of revising before court. Had my husband gathering information about my disability, cpstd—which I get treatment for— to try and take my son away from me just so he wouldn’t have to pay child support. Additionally, she told my husband that there were 2 cps cases opened and that I opened one— I didn’t, but even if I did cps reporting is anonymous and my husband fell for it… Scam artist at its finest. The below statement is not true: I wrote this prior and Google approved it later- I did not lose anything other than family and friends. I signed a MSA which is me agreeing 😅🤣 Shimok and your office will be hearing from the board after not following the signed order intentionally and then laughing in my face when I asked you to follow as such : “to give the defendant (myself) the check directly” signed by the judge, Shomik, and your client.
