I cannot recommend David Wallace enough!! He helped me with a stalking protection order case, and we had less than a week to prepare everything. Despite the extremely tight timeline, he worked flawlessly and efficiently to build the case and helped me secure a win. From start to finish, David communicated in a way that made me feel safe, heard, and supported. He explained the process clearly and made me feel confident that we were going to succeed. During what could have been an incredibly overwhelming situation, he stayed calm, organized, and fully committed to helping me. If you’re looking for a lawyer who is not only highly capable but also genuinely cares about his clients and their safety, I could not recommend David Wallace more.

From day one David was fair, compassionate, totally transparent about the strategy, and in constant communication through nearly a year of court dates. He charged me a single flat fee and told me a good lawyer should already know what a proper defense will cost, so I never had to worry about surprise billable hours or being nickel‑and‑dimed if I wanted better representation . David showed up prepared to every hearing, calmly walked me through each step, and never once made me feel like just another case file. Then one afternoon he called and opened with, “Good afternoon, buddy. We win—case dismissed, all charges dropped.” Hearing those words from your lawyer is something you never forget. Sadly, I had the opposite experience of ShadowJester November 2025 review. Wallace was attentive up to my hearing, but then he remained silent during my hearing, no objection, no witness preparation, no concern to listen to my story and how the case escalated to a hearing in judicial system. Was not attentive, appeared hungover. And then advised me to perform an illegal action that would have put me in jail. Oh yes, he was paid. Put trust and hope in his words, all for basically a no-show to my hearing. Strongly encourage anyone reading to keep looking for an attorney that can walk the talk. No reason to disappoint yourself. I didn’t ask for a google review you did, Mr. Wallace. Because it was not a favorable review (as these stars are earned) you deflect and throw attorney client privilege out the window. You are pathetic, this is a review not slander. You look so silly acting out over an honest review. Putting your unprofessional behavior on full display. My review is not a ridiculous lie. Your defending statements are so not factual. Clearly out of anger. I own my behavior, can you own yours. Without deflecting. Take your own advice and take a very hard look in the mirror regarding your behavior as an under-performing, over-optimistic, unprepared attorney. David was recommended to me after I was rear ended. He was professional, knowledgeable, and handled my case efficiently. The process went very smoothly and I was very happy with the outcome of the case. I will be keeping his contact information for future use and plan to refer him to anyone who may need an attorney.

I am not one to usually leave reviews but Wallace Law Firm is truly deserving of it. I have been going through a dificult legal issue and needed some legal advice. I was provided with David Wallace's office number and I am so glad I was. I had to leave a message to request a consultation, but he called me back same day. David provided great legal advice and let me know that he could take my case but informed me that the case could prove rather costly. He never pressured me to pick him to represent me. He even provided me with other resources that could be more affordable to me. So not only is he a great lawyer but he is also a human with integrity and compassion.

Had a conversation with Mr. Wallace through the Oregon State Bar referral program. He answered right away and was very helpful answering my questions. Would definitely use him as my attorney in the future.

I had a very negative experience with attorney David Wallace. He was referred to me through the Modest Means program but immediately attempted to charge a minimum of $4,500 just to handle a restraining order — an amount far outside the purpose and intent of that program. Multiple attorneys have since confirmed that his pricing was highly inflated compared to industry standards. Based on this, I chose not to retain his services. Shortly after, Mr. Wallace appeared to represent the opposing party in the same matter — a serious breach of confidentiality and professional ethics. He claimed this was “reasonable” and even denied in court that he charges clients, demonstrating a willingness to make false statements before a judge. As a result, he was ultimately forced to recuse himself from the case. During our phone consultation, Mr. Wallace was not trauma-informed and made dismissive, inappropriate remarks, including stating how much he “loves restraining orders.” This comment was deeply unprofessional and insensitive given the seriousness of my situation. He later appeared in court twice on the related matter, both times arriving unprepared and behaving unprofessionally. He attempted to deny an obvious conflict of interest until I presented proof in front of the judge. Additionally, his firm’s website is nonfunctional, which further reflects a lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mr. Wallace’s services, particularly for anyone seeking a supportive, competent, and ethical attorney. Clients deserve legal representation that is professional, prepared, and trustworthy — qualities Mr. Wallace unfortunately did not fell far short of literally and figuratively.

I was rear ended in an accident that almost totaled my car and left me with lingering injuries. I have no idea what I'm supposed to in these situations so a friend referred me to David. David essentially took the reins and his attention to detail saved me from being taken advantage of by low balling insurance companies who were racing to get me to waive my abilities to be made fully whole again. Without his involvement I probably would have listened to the insurance companies and would never have gotten the actual care and compensation I need. If you want someone who takes the case personally and walks you through every single part of the process then David's your guy.
