I’m writing this review to share my personal experience with the legal services I received while seeking a divorce, nearly nine years after leaving my marriage. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed in the level of representation and support I received throughout the process. While I understand that legal outcomes can vary, I felt overlooked and unsupported during a time when I was doing my best to protect and provide for my children on my own. As a single mother, I had hoped for an advocate—someone who would understand the complexity and emotional toll of long-term separation and delayed legal closure. Though I don’t expect sharing this to change my case, I do hope it encourages others—especially professionals in the legal field—to recognize the unique challenges single parents face and to strive for greater empathy and effectiveness in their work. ***UPDATED 2/28/2025 *** If I could give Wamsley & Associates 10 stars I would! I had the opportunity to work with these guys for several speeding tickets that my husband and I got. Both times we have been able to walk away with much more of a plea bargain than we expected. These were a huge deal for us, especially the most recent one and I felt like they gave me the time and attention I needed to get everything squared away. Hopefully I don't ever have to use them again, but if I do, these guys are the first phone call I'm making. (end update) ******I worked with Brent on a garnishment situation that was over 20 years old. To say I got upset about the situation is an understatement. Brent took the brunt of my frustrations and remained professional the entire time. Not only that, but he ended up getting us the best possible outcome in the end. I highly recommend Wamsley & Associates!

Incredibly disappointing consult. Wamsley acted homophobic during the consult. Refused to shake hands with my wife or myself, didn’t introduce himself, spoke down to us and made snide comments regarding our interest in creating a trust only because of Suze Orman advice (an LGBTQ financial adviser whom we’ve never met). Wamsley wouldn’t make eye contact and treated us as imbecilic, contagious children. As we were walking out he finally had the wherewithal to ask what we do for a living. Well Brent, you had a healthcare executive and an attorney with a multi-million dollar estate sitting in front of you and we will never hire you to represent our interests. TO MY BROTHERS, SISTERS, AND ALL OTHERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF OUR ALLIES TO THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY STEER CLEAR OF THIS LAW FIRM!
