I have been a client since 2006 with my hand injury, my atty was the father Mr. Wax. I had no issues, he was very diligent in speaking with you & wud listen. Mireya was employed with them since I first opened my case. I had several cases since than and my back injury in 2016, I made the mistake to settle. I kept complaining that my back kept hurting, the company was not honoring my work restrictions. I was overworked by performing 2 job positions. Mireya became super rude in the 2016, the doctors I chose for treatment for my back, travelers no longer had them as providers. During this time, I did not knw I can reopen my case within 5 yrs, I thought it was just for medical. Now, in 2020 I had head and neck, I really did not deal with Mireya but mostly with Sonia. At first she was nice but as time went by in which a lot had to do with her work ethics in doing her job, she became super rude. The first year 2020, the only doctor I seen was a clinic doctor when I forced the company to send me. Mireya or Sonia did not bother to provide me to see a doctor, till almost a year later but somehow they wanted make it seem like it was my fault. When I finally seen a doctor it was a neurologist, travelers kept denying the other doctors and requested testing. The neurologist stated he could no longer treat me without his request, I relayed what he told me to Sonia. A year went by and I called her basically to ask what is going on with my case, again she blamed me because I have not seen the neurologist. I reminded her of our initial conversation of my last appt with the neurologist, she refused to take accountability. Finally I seen 4 panel doctors in which I kept my appts. In 2024, I opened another case against the company for stress. I was supposed to see 3 doctors, Sonia never made the appts and let the 90 days pass. She requested for the doctors again and told me to make my own appts. The neurologist stated the atty had to send them the letter, the psychiatrist was not longer accepting workers comp. When I was sending her emails now she wanted to do her job. I seen my neurologist, again he requested the same testing to be done, have not heard anything. I did reschedule my appt with the ortho becuz I was given more medication and it made me very drowsy n I had a hard time waking up but yet Sonia got mad at me when she just scheduled my appt for the psychiatrist 08/26/25. I just finished having a phone conversation to ask questions and mind you this has been an ongoing issue in which she has a habit of cutting you off and not letting you speak, assuming she knows ur questions. I am a calm person and not argumentative, this time I did speak up to tell her not to be cutting me off, to listen but still kept cutting me off when I was still speaking. She just stated to tell Robert when I have my scheduled phone conversation in a few weeks. The father Mr. Wax wud never put up with his staff being rude and incompetent. I struggled with my injuries almost 6 yrs with no treatment from the doctors, I had 3 therapy with 6 sessions each during these years and the last phone conversations I had with Sonia she kept insisting for me to settle. As per my last conversation with Robert prior to Sonia’s conversations, I told him I will not making the same mistake to settle. I want my injuries to be taken care of properly by the doctors.To be honest, I want an atty who is going to look out for my wellbeing and to fight for my case. I do not want an atty who is forcing me to settle, in which I feel Sonia has been doing. Us as client are in severe pain and are struggling day to day life, should it be daily work duties, home tasks or personal hygiene such as bathing. There should be compassion or empathy. If you cannot handle ur job position and have great customer/client relationships and than you shud not be in this type of job environment. Also, we may not have the level of education or knw the lingo of law terms, this needs to be explained to us properly. I feel Wax and Wax should start monitoring the calls that go in and out from their offices.

Wax and wax help me about 20 years ago with the workers compensation. They help me rehabilitate myself to get back to work and got me a great compensation. I am very happy with the work they provided for me. I thank them for being honest with me and helping me with my case.

Do not use this attorney for a work comp injury. Craig Switzer and assistant Mireya are rude and unprofessional. They don’t check your file status before they speak with you over the phone. They won’t fight for your case. Very unhappy with their service.

Workers comp is really confusing and it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Robert Castillo handled my workers comp case. Robert was extremely helpful answering all of my questions and giving advice. Anytime anything was denied or the insurance company needed some type of information he took care of all of the paperwork. I truly would have been lost without his help. I recommend him and his team wholeheartedly.

The experience was pleasant. Questions were usually answered in detail, and the office handles virtually all of the paperwork for the case so that I didn't have to worry about it at the same time as all the doctor appointments and my injury itself.

I was looking for a law firm after a work related injury and Wax & Wax were recommended by a very respected law firm in the Santa Clarita Valley who do not handle WC cases. I was not disappointed. After working 4 decades at one grocery chain i became badly injured. Filing a WC claim was easy but after 4 major surgeries, one to remove 3 discs from lumbar region, 1 disc removed from cervical region, surgery to repair 3 torn rotator tendons, and have an electronic lumbar stimulator the bureacracy of WC insurance and the mounds of paperwork and approvals required for all tests and procedures would have stressed me out to a point of severe anxiety. Going to speak to Mr Wax was calming and informative. His representatives who accompanied me to depositions and the couthouse was such a relief. I could not have done this mysrlf.
