I am an attorney and Mr. Whittaker assisted my client with a family law matter. Mr. Whittaker worked quickly, efficiently and took a very practical approach to resolving the issue.

I was referred to Mr. Bland from a local attorney to represent me in a civil action against a government official and municipality. Mr. Bland reviewed all of my documentation and provided the options regarding that action. He took the case and began to craft the suit accordingly. After putting the future plaintiffs on notice, the municipality took immediate action against the official. After evaluating the swift response from the municipality, I decided not to pursue further redress of grievance. I hired David B. Sherman during a very tumultuous time when I had a lot of confusion and fear about what I was facing in family court. From day one, David was kind, thoughtful, and thorough in explaining my options and keeping me very aware of the costs I would be facing. About a decade ago our family needed help creating a Durable General Power of Attorney and Healthcare Power of Attorney. We chose Weaver, Bennett & Bland because they are conveniently located in downtown Matthews next to Renfroe’s Hardware. We had used other attorneys before, but were very pleased with the friendly, thorough, and professional approach of Eran Weaver, one of the senior partners. Recently, our family situation changed, and we needed to update our Wills and Powers of Attorney again. We chose to use Eran Weaver again. Everything again went easily, smoothly and was completed at a reasonable price. The final products were extensive and provided in stylish packages for easy storage and handling. The office is modern, clean, neat, well organized and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We also had a need this year to update the Will and Powers of Attorney for my 98-year-old mother, so naturally we chose Weaver, Bennett & Bland again. This time WB&B excelled beyond all expectations. Because my mom is in a nursing care facility in the area, she was not able to come into the office. Eran made it easy by meeting on a couple occasions with my mom and me in her room to get everything done. He conveniently provided a Notary and Witness when they were required. In addition, Eran showed us the advantages of creating a Trust to facilitate and simplify the handling of her estate. I am so glad that he took the time to clearly explain options to us because it will make a huge difference in how her estate is handled.
