On December 17th, 2025, in court room 5B, at 0900, both parties were waiting in their respective places in the court room, with the bailiff present. The judge had not yet come into the court room. Mr. Dildy and the GAL (***) were talking across the room to each other about traveling to France and speaking French. Mr. Dildy said out loud, across the court room (The GAL *** was seated in the jury box), "Do you know why the French plant trees on both sides of the road"? Everyone in the room stopped and looked at Mr. Dildy. He proceeded to say, "so the Germans can march in the shade". Attorney *** and Dildy exchanged laughter at the punch line of the statement. This comment is extremely offensive to us since we are of German heritage. My family immigrated from Germany right before the war- I have an uncle who was made to fight for the Americans against his own family in Germany. He came back to the US after the war to commit suicide over the atrocities of war. Our ties to our German Heritage and Jewish family and friends will never find this type of oppressive language acceptable and for the court to allow an officer of the court to do so is NOT ACCEPTABLE. The loss of millions of lives is NOTHING to laugh about. There is absolutely NO humor in the loss of millions of lives. Our last name is an obvious German name. Why is this acceptable? Do you have an anti-Semitic officer of the court? Mr. David Dildy needs to be held accountable for his actions and the commonwealth of Virginia needs to ensure he attend and have documented unconscious bias counseling. I could not speak against this inappropriate language as I felt it would harm our son and generate repercussions against his case. There were multiple witnesses to the exchange. I'm sure the cameras in the court room recorded the exchange as well. We did not feel safe in that court room. If this officer of the court has this bias, is the rest of the Norfolk Va, judicial system like this? Our liberty was taken from us- we didn't feel free to speak against such inappropriate language. This firm has antisemetic attorneys that do not even try to hide it, infact, Mr. Dildy was right out in the open about it. We are all disgusted by his behavior. If this is the kind of attorney you want- he is your man- otherwise, be warned- you will likely be extremely offended.

Jeremiah Asercion was great and got us the verdict we wanted. My mom thinks he is so cute. So, there is that also. :)

Jeremiah is an excellent local criminal and traffic attorney. His clients are always very pleased with his representation.

If you want to lose, hire this company. I hired weisberg@weisberg for my divorce case. But my lawyer were very ineffective at the beginning to the end, so I lost all the cases even though I was right. They continued to send me invoices even after losing the cases.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. DAVID DILDY is a TERRIBLE attorney. It is surprising that a firm such as Weisburg & Weisburg would allow such a TERRIBLE attorney in DAVID DILDY to be part of their team. He did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING helpful in my case, he only helped himself to money he didn’t deserve nor earn. There is a review by Jonathan Brown that is identical to my experience with DAVID DILDY. Our first conversation sounded promising and that’s where it ended. I would have thought he was a remote, work from home attorney the way he EXTREMELY FAILED to handle business honestly, transparently and professionally. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you or anyone you know retain this guy as an attorney. A disgrace to how law should be practiced. DAVID DILDY was so bad that he fell asleep in our face to face meeting. Not just any sleep, literally snoring in our meeting. He FAILED to file any motions as many court orders were violated by the other party and his excuse was “I don’t want to upset the judge.” He used distasteful analogies to relay messages in reference to me seeing my children such as “sometimes you have to let things get worst” he also used poor apologies in reference to the Dallas Cowboys and their struggles as a team and organization in an attempt to validate his less than successful process. I paid 10s of thousands of dollars to DAVID DILDY and in a years + time I may have spoken to him 3 times on the phone MAYBE, corresponded via email 3 times MAYBE and had 2 In person meetings, where he fell asleep in 1 of those meetings. DAVID DILDY promised A LOT and delivered on NOTHING! A waste of time and money fighting for the right to be a father to my children. I provided endless emails, text messages, videos, photos, character letters and more that could have easily assisted my case and he acknowledged NONE of the material and insisted on making a deal with opposing counsel that would possibly be the worst deal EVER “negotiated” considering the facts that DAVID DILDY had full access to. DAVID DILDY is the WORST attorney I have ever come in contact with on any level. I was actually surprised he showed up to the court date to withdraw as an attorney as I intended to fire him before he requested a withdrawal for non payment. YES, I was paying weekly as agreed upon when he was “acting” like my case mattered. YES, I stopped paying when he consistently FAILED to do his job. I was lucky to get the 2 in person meetings as the previous meetings were all cancelled and postponed but NEVER actually happened. DAVID DILDY is a DISGUSTING “attorney” and should not be allowed to label himself as such. Disappointed with the service would be an understatement, overpaying for the TERRIBLE service would also be an understatement. He will “sweet talk” you but you will soon find out there is nothing sweet about his talk. Again, please READ Jonathan Brown review and in detail he describes how HORRIBLE DAVID DILDY is as an attorney. I have contacted the firm in regards to meeting with the managing partner but I have not been contacted back as the managing attorney that addresses these issues “can’t be bothered as they are preparing for trial.” I will not stop until this situation is rectified in a satisfactory manner. I actually don’t want anything more than what I was promised would be delivered. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK DAVID…..JUST SAY NO TO DAVID DILDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will undoubtedly be the worst mistake of your life.

This office has no issue harrassing you for payment for a piss poor result. They did not fight for our child nor myself as they should have. Years later after my ex was seated full legal and physical custody, he has stalked an harrassed me. Taunted me for my mental health. Currently the state I live in is pursuing criminal charges against them. The abuse was always there and this office did absolutely nothing to support me, but did everything to take financially and I still owe. I wouldn’t ever trust them to help a family with true advocacy. My attorney was Jeremiah A.

Just recently was able to get Jeremiah to represent me and when I tell you he is the absolute best. He is the absolute best! In case where I was found not guilty and frustrated by the entire process he ensured me and guided me through out it all. Thank you sir for everything!

I am extremely happy Jeremiah Asercion was my lawyer for my speeding ticket in Newport News. I called the firm, a lady answered (not voicemail), took all my particulars, she said Jeremiah was in court and would call me. He called me that afternoon, we spoke about my case and the options available. He was personable, positive and realistic about the case. At the court appearance, I got everything that I wanted - no fine and no points!

My Attorney Jeremiah Ascersion was really great at first at postponing my court date when my mother passed, but I wasn't impressed with him overall. After he got my money, he stopped returning my emails & phone calls. I found out when it was all said & done he knew the police officer wasn't going to shop up for the court date! We showed up it was dismissed because the officer no showed! He stated over the phone that he would reimburse me a portion of my money & he did not! He took full payment & left with a smile on his face! He didn't do what he stated he would do at all. If there is no case to try, why wouldn't you return the portion that wasn't used! Not impressed at all with his lack of ethical standards!

You do not think of a lawyer until you are in trouble. That is how I came to know Jeremiah Assertion of Weisberg & Weisberg PLLC. I hope you will not be in a situation of trouble like I was. But should that happen, I would go nowhere but W & W PLLC and try to locate that Jeremiah. If there was a slot for one more star, I would let it shine in there, too. God bless you J.
