My husband hired Attorney Wells to assist with receiving social security disability. Let me just say that it wasn’t an easy road. Yes, it required a lot of paperwork to complete, medical records to download and submit as well as papers to sign. However, Attorney Wells and his assistance, Crystin were there in support from the start. Through calls and texts, Crystin and I formed a bond unimaginable. She’s so easy to talk to and so relatable and sympathetic with not only navigating through the paperwork but addressing your concerns with the ins and outs of the veterans’ temperament and trust. After several denials with the ruling, we finally got a yes with a favorable decision. Attorney Wells was so thorough and easy going with the latter part of the process and it was so much appreciated. Mr. Wells was excellent. He only does Social Security disability and has been fighting for people with disabilities for over 30 years. Before I found him, I spoke with 8 other attorneys who primarily handled personal injury and just dabbled in disability. Once they realized my case was challenging, they weren't interested. In contrast, even before Mr. Wells had decided whether to take my case, he offered to help me practice for the ALJ hearing and gave me great advice about getting a reevaluation with my old doctor. Since Social Security sets a cap on how much attorneys earn, and it isn't that much, Mr. Wells could be earning far more handling other types of cases. He does this because it's very difficult to get on disability, and almost everyone needs a lawyer who can guide them through the complex rules and represent them. He's also known and respected by the office that handles the hearings, which makes a difference. I highly recommend both Mr. Wells and Crystin, his admin./paralegal. Both are incredible people doing very necessary work for those who need it most. There aren't enough words to say how totally pleased I am with the professional service I received from Mr. Wells. After being initially rejected by Social Security...which was expected and very typical...he was able to calm my fears and explained the process of appealling that decision. By following his directions and getting the medical records and paperwork he needed, he had my appeal filed with days and less than six weeks later it was approved! I was about to give up on getting my disability started until I met Keith Wells, he was extremely knowledgeable about how the disability social security works. He’s was very nice and always made me feel at ease, I wake up in pain and I go to sleep in pain. From the very first meeting he make me feel extremely calm. And I really appreciate him and his staff, always professional and accommodating. Their were times I had a hard time getting up the stairs at his office, even though they were only about six steps. Or his paralegal will always come to my car to pick up important papers and that always made me feel like they cared.
