When we initially approached one of the best legal firms in Denver regarding our case, they immediately referred us to Nelson Waneka with their highest recommendation. He did not disappoint. Ours was a complicated 3rd party case involving State Farm—who offered a tiny fraction of our original claim (involving water damage to a high end home during a remodel.) Local attorneys appeared intimidated to take on a large corporation and tried to dissuade us. But this is where Nelson rises above average attorneys. He took our case and immediately got to work meticulously reviewing invoices, receipts, damage photos & videos, and expertly conducting interviews & depositions. He was excellent at communicating with us through every stage and never left us hanging. He prepared for trial if necessary and when he tells you he works harder than ordinary attorneys to ensure success at trial — believe him. . Where most cases like this could have dragged on for years, Nelson managed to expedite our trial date then before we ever reached that stage, he successfully settled the case just short of our full claim amount, all in under 7 & 1/2 months. Had we chosen to go to trial rather than settle we’re more than confident Nelson would have succeeded there as well. These cases can be stressful and Nelson erased much of that stress for us.
