Arranged a home buy duplex moving to Burlington very effectively. Office staff very responsive and lawyer answered all the questions. Plus they had Betty Boop and old cameras in their office so had to be good. Nice view of Lake Champlain from the offices. Parking is in the busiest areas of the city so plan accordingly.

We worked with Alec Slater on a challenging real estate deal. Without getting into the details, suffice it to say we had the A team and the other folks had the C team. The deal could have easily gone bad but his calm confidence and persuasive advocacy helped to get us over the finish line. I can't thank him enough and highly recommend his whole team if you're buying a house or rental property. On top of that, Alec is a really nice guy.

Overall the time working with the company was adequate could’ve done better with communicating with client. During a purchase of property pricing of terms/negotiations was discussed without the us knowing between the company and the seller. One thing that irked me most of that unanswered emails when trying to contact a week before closing is unacceptable.

They scheduled a closing and then were completely unresponsive — failing to return voicemails, messages with the receptionist and emails up to and including the scheduled day of the closing. I never heard from them until I got an email two days after the closing was scheduled with no apology, no offer to fix it — nothing. Unprofessional and disrespectful.
