Total jerk.. arrogant and uninformed.. don’t waste your time with him, he put me off like yesterday’s trash.

Matthew Depietro went above and beyond to help my son and made a very stressful situation much easier for our family. We had a great experience with the Wilbur Smith Law Firm, especially working with attorney Matthew Depietro. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly throughout my son’s case. We always felt like our concerns were heard and that his case truly mattered. He even gave me his personal cell phone number and advised that I could text or call him anytime I needed to. The staff was also helpful and responsive. After court was over, my son was to be released that evening, but there was an error and it never happened. The very next morning I called Matthew on his personal cell phone and he said when he got into the office he would find out what was going on. He as well as Marybeth were on top of it and found an error with the judge signing off, which they took care of immediately, and my son was released within two hours. I highly recommend Wilbur Smith Law Firm. Everyone there is very helpful, polite, and eager to start working on my case. After I talked to the receptionist, I had a lawyer call me back within a couple hours later and at that time I hired Matthew DePietro. Matthew did an absolutely outstanding job. Not only did he give me a better price than all the other lawyers I spoke with outside of this law firm. He was able to get all my charges dismissed without me having to come down to Florida as I live in NJ. My probation, both warrants for my arrest, community service, all of it dismissed. All the other lawyers, outside of this law firm, wanted me to fly down to Florida, turn myself in, bail out, and then come back down to Florida for court. I couldn’t be happier with Matthew DePietro. He gave me his personal phone # so if I needed to contact him, I can directly. He kept me updated every step of the way. Everything he said he was going to do, he did. Matthew got the best possible outcome for my case, all charges dismissed. I am extremely happy and grateful for Wilbur Smith Law Firm & Matthew DePietro.

Matthew Depietro was an AMAZING attorney for me! He got a motion to get me out of jail w a revoked bond and earlier than my original court date for a battery and then a violation of injunction. Also got the case dropped that day and was able to go home. Fought for me in the court room. And HIGHLY RECOMMEND him! Very professional and on point. Hyper intelligent. Couldn’t ask for more and very reasonable in price than anyone else. Very informative. He let me make payments as well per month. If you’re looking for a guy! This is HIM!!!!!

I’ve hired Wilbur Smith Law Firm in the past and I’ve dealt with Wilbur Smith and his son Sawyer, which were wonderful and helped me out with both cases. I then hired Danny Garza in the present and he was a huge disappointment. He did not do anything to represent me to help me, he stated he would get my warrant dismissed then he could not get it dismissed and told me to turn myself in and then he would negotiate for me. Once I was turned into jail, which sounded like a joke to me. I would not hire him he does not fight for you.

Mr. Garza is an absolutely exceptional attorney. From the very beginning, it was clear that he truly cares about his clients and takes the time to understand their situation on a personal level. I’ve gone to Attorney Garza a couple times and he’s always pulled through, facing prison time for one of the times. He was always on top of everything and he is the best at what he does without a doubt. No prison time or any convictions thanks to him.

It needs mention, that the support staff at Wilbur Smith also deserves recognition. More specifically, Marybeth Adams, has been an incredible resource to me, for the past 5 years. Although my case itself was successfully concluded in my favor, the aftermath results to my online reputation has been harder to get cleared up. Marybeth has not let me down, fighting to get the reporting errors on the DMV website removed. A single clerical error has lead to unnecessary time spent calling and emailing state officials. This would be a daunting task for an average resident. Her influence and knowledge has help me immensely. I couldn't do it without her. She deserves her own 5 star review!!! My experience with this law firm began almost 3 years ago. I was searching for the best attorney that I could in the area for my needs. I found more than I had bargained for with Daniel Garza!!! Not only did he win my case, but he walked me through the "what comes next" as well. I cannot thank him enough, or the members of his staff, for all they have done for me and my family. Mr. Garza was nothing short of a blessing for me and, most importantly, for my children. I was going through a very difficult divorce where my ex was willing to use anything—even our own children—to further her agenda. Because of this, a baseless injunction was filed against me. Later, I was accused of violating it simply for waving at my son. I was arrested, and one of the deputies quietly warned me that, based on his experience, they would likely try to hold me until my court date—45 days away. All of this over a wave to my child. He encouraged me to start making phone calls, so I reached out to my brother, who then contacted Mr. Garza and his firm. That was the best call anyone could have made for me. Thanks to Mr. Garza, I spent less than 24 hours in Lee County Jail and was never even dressed out. He showed up for me on very short notice and was so well-respected by the judge and his colleagues that the situation was resolved quickly, with minimal impact on my children and my life. I hope I never have to use that phone number again—but if I ever needed someone in my corner, it would absolutely be Mr. Garza and his team. I did not have a good experience with attorney Daniel Garza, it was my first time hiring a lawyer and boy did I make a mistake. After hiring Garza, he did not give me guidance, when I sent evidence he responded “I can put it in but I can’t guarantee anything” I think it was unnecessary comments, he didn’t seem to be confident in his ability to do anything in my case. Then a few weeks into being my lawyer he called me and started making comments about my character that I didn’t understand where it was coming from so I told him that I would like my husband to be apart of the call so we will have to call him back , he then responded “ I’m your attorney your going to talk to me when I say” ! I told him I felt threatened by this behavior and he said find yourself another attorney and fired me ! 3 weeks before my hearing which puts me in a terrible position. Then he wouldn’t refund $2,500! After doing nothing for me… he is out for the money and it’s very clear. I recommend looking at 5 star reviews and doing your homework very carefully. So far with my brief encounter with Foley & Wilson Law they seemed incredible and have a perfect 5 stars. I also recommend James Chandler in Naples they are by far better human beings and lawyers. Beware of attorney Garza.

I highly recommend Danny Garza as an attorney! From the start, Danny was incredibly professional and communicative. He made sure I felt informed and supported throughout the entire process. Where do I start I had attorney Danny Garza hands down I must say he is the best out there in my opinion. Very disappointed in this firm and Attorney Danny Garza. My wife hired Danny Garza for a case and paid a flat fee to complete the case. During a phone call my wife expressed to continue the conversation with me on the call. Danny Garza told her “you are gonna talk to me when I say.” He now refuses to finish the case and won’t refund the money we sent to him to complete the case. When I expressed my frustration over the unfairness of the situation he would childishly say “you can act like a tough guy over the phone.” I do not respect someone who is not a man of their word and looks for the easy way out.
