I started my conversation with Keith during the most traumatic time in our lives. In March of 2018 our older two boys dad passed away in a car accident which was head in into a tree around 100mph. Flash forward 5 months. Mid August of 2018 my husband was out driving around with his adopted mother. She was in her early 80's and they were out in the country looking at properties because she wanted to move closer to us. She began getting car sick looking at the map so she asked if she could drive and, of course, he said yes. He was looking down at the directions and the next thing he knew was there was an Oregon State Trooper waking him up. She accidentally went off the road and hit a tree head on. The airbags in the car didn't deploy and he broke the windshield with his head. Ambulances finally arrived and got him out and up the embankment and her out. She passed away in transit to the hospital and he was trauma rushed in. I didn't really know what I should do because there were many issues I was dealing with. The cars faulty airbags which were serviced for a recall already, her passing and all the implications of that along with my husband's accident injuries, mental health and we owned a business I couldn't run without him. I called and left a message for Keith to call me and he did on his lunch break between trials. He talked to me about everything, completely patient and understanding, for over an hour. We live 2 hours away from him and he was willing to just hear me out and guide me. I asked if he would represent us and he said yes. There were multiple avenues we needed to take and him and Melissa (right hand lady, amazing!!) made us feel like they really took their time and gave us the best representation we could've had. It was a long road, a stressful, tear jerking, painful road but, they saw us through and made our stress in so many areas much easier and bearable.
