We hired Nick Wollen for our daughter and he and his entire team are extraordinary! Brendan, and Danni are exceptional. I really believe that Nick is one of the only ethical attorneys left in Idaho. Don't go anywhere else for help with legal issues!

Personally, I could only handle nick for a little over a month before I had to get an attorney that could get the job done. He’ll give you an app to sign into for you to message him but will never reply then get mad when you ask him questions in person, rolling his eyes like a teenage girl. It is my fault because I didn’t do research on this man. I wanted an attorney so I left my public defender and got another public defender(nick) he won’t take your case seriously and he will lie to you and over charge you and ask you dumb questions like “what should he look for in evidence” as if he not the lawyer. If you do go with nick, which I DO NOT RECOMMEND! document everything. He literally charged me $30 for messaging back “okay”. He also told me the consultation is free but ended up charging me on the final bill. look at the final bill he sent me. The man is a joke and so is his team he needs to go back the public defender office where he could be watched by a supervisor because this ain’t it Nicky. Do better. lol he says that it was a mutual agreement on the withdrawal but look at the messages of me firing him. Stop trying to make it look like I was trying to have you do illegal stuff in court clown! Don’t hire him he a liar!

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We strive to provide all our clients with diligent and ethical representation, and we're sorry to hear you feel we fell short of your expectations.
Regarding your specific comments:
• Communication: We utilize a client portal, as well as a program to track all phone calls and messages in and out of our firm, to ensure all communication is documented for both the client's and our firm's protection. While we aim to respond promptly, complex legal matters often require thorough research and consideration before a response can be provided. Our records also show multiple attempts to contact you by phone, which went unanswered (see non-billable time entries on your invoice).
• Case Handling: Our records, as reflected in the invoice you posted, demonstrate substantial work performed on your case, including:
o Multiple court hearings, including preliminary hearings and arraignment (10/30, 11/13, 12/06).
o Extensive review of videos and reports in preparation for hearings (11/12).
o Numerous phone calls and messaging communications.
• We take all cases seriously and dedicate the necessary time and resources to each.
• Ethical Obligations: We are bound by professional ethics, which include honesty and candor to the court. Our decision to withdraw from your case was mutual and stemmed from a disagreement regarding trial strategy. We could not ethically proceed with a strategy that involved misrepresentation to the court. In addition, you were treated with kindness and respect by myself and office staff and you chose to return that with disrespect and rude comments to my staff.
• Billing: Our billing practices are transparent. The invoice you shared details the services provided and their corresponding costs. The $30 charge you mention likely refers to documented communication, which is a billable activity. Consultations are free for initial case evaluations; however, once representation begins, time spent on the case is billable. Your payment history shows multiple failed auto-billing attempts in which our staff had to reach out repeatedly for payment. As clearly stated on your invoice, the total fees for services rendered were $3,660. After applied discounts, a balance of $660 remains due. We encourage you to contact our office to discuss this further. As outlined in our Attorney-Client Retainer Agreement and reiterated on your invoice, payment is due within thirty (30) days.
We wish you the best in your future legal endeavors.
