I contemplated whether or not I should fool with writing a review but it has deeply bothered me. I’ve woken from sleep almost every night since. Very disappointed. Had very high expectations after doing a lot of research and reading the reviews on here. Let me sum it up for you who are in a similar situation such as myself. The 5 star ratings you’re reading are from those who can afford to pay in full for his services. This is definitely NOT the case if you’re like me and are the granddaughter / executrix who is simply trying to settle my grandparents estate by probating their will. I need to pay the fees out of the money from the estate. I went in for my consultation after filing out loads of paperwork and the attorney wouldn’t even come in to talk to me without requiring me to pay $200 UP FRONT!!!! If you don’t have any financial strains oh then by ALL means he is FANTASTIC AND IS DEFINITELY UR GO TO but if u don’t he does NOT Have ANY interests in helping you. My mother in law was going to use his services if he turned out to be great for us…. She has plenty of money to pay no questions asked. Needless to say she’s no longer interested and has told her friends at the senior center. I just want to save even one person from driving away, hysterically sobbing, feeling the way I felt on that day. Update : I have NO problem with the fees the woods law firm charges. Let me make that very clear. I totally understand, value, and respect the time, effort and energy required. My issue is simply with the fact that they would not allow the fees to be paid for with the money from the estate. If so they would have been hired that day.

I understand that you feel our services are too expensive, and while we may not be a fit for everyone, we strive to provide high-quality services at competitive prices and want to ensure our clients receive value for their investment. Regarding the consultation fee, this has been in place for quite some time and is stated at the time the consultation meeting is scheduled. It is also credited toward your total fee should you decide to hire my law firm following the consultation. Without it, we would unfortunately be unable to provide legal services to sustain my business, as I would be giving free legal advice all day.<br><br>Concerning the paperwork, we send out an intake form prior to all of our meetings to help gather pertinent details of your case to ensure that we have a productive and organized consultation. We ask clients to fill these out to the best of their ability, as we understand that not all information may be available at first. But the more we can address upfront, the better prepared we will be for the case ahead.<br><br>I am sorry to hear that your experience did not meet with your expectations and appreciate you bringing up your concerns. I wish you all the best moving forward and am grateful that you considered my law firm. - Adam
My husband and I were very pleased with Woods Law Firm. Adam is very personable, efficient and thorough. He completed everything we needed to include setting up a trust in a timely manner. Allyson was also welcoming and professional. She greeted us with a smile each time we arrived and was very pleasant. Woods Law Firm is the only legal service I would recommend for Wills, Estate planning, and family law. Adam is prompt in his work ethics, straightforward in advice and demonstrates honesty and integrity. In this day and age, both are very hard to come by, and Woods Law firm has it all. I cannot suggest this attorney enough for any estate, probate, and other legal issues.
