This was the worst attorney I could have chosen for my case. I will say Justin does know the law, but it depends on his mood how he represents you. Firstly, he is vastly unprofessional. He took a call from his doctor while I was on the phone with him. Didn’t even put me on hold, and then reprimanded me for laughing at something while he was on the phone with both myself and his medical professional. He gives you zero invoices of hours he’s worked for you. What your legal fees are going towards, instead, charges you off his feelings. He was paid 8k and I lost tons of money in my case that was rightfully mine and I had all invoices and evidence of. I was in an extremely abusive relationship, with a documented dv abuser across 25 years and two states. He recently just got charged with 3 counts of felony child endangerment. The abuser is very manipulative, cunning, and sly. Justin was over there fraternizing with him like they were best friends during my court case. At first I thought it was a tactic. But as it continued, I realized it wasn’t. During my abuse, I broke my abusers cell phone when he followed me to a lock room, and he kept slipping it under the door. He then busted down the door. It was weird, but all kinds of gaslighting involved. I was charged with a felony. Justin said it would be 3k for the case. I had already paid him 3k for a civil case. When Justin contacted the district attorneys office, he found out the case was dropped. And refused to give me any portion of my 3k back because it was ‘non refundable.’ He filed one paper for 3k. Even told the district attorneys office he was going to refund me. My ex violated a restraining order by sending me flowers to my new address indicating he knew where I lived. Justin refused to file against him for ‘sending me flowers.’ My ex got 10k from me, I owed him 2k. But Justin suggested I settle instead of fighting him. Justin received 8k I had to sell my house to separate and he filed for his friend to be the real estate agent legally. So she got 8k from me. I lost 20k while selling my house due to Justin not fighting. He furthered my trauma and I would call him abusive. If you don’t agree with the direction he is taking the case he will yell at you or threaten to drop you as a client. After you pay the non refundable fees of course. I would have been better off unrepresented. Just don’t do it with Wyatt. I will say Laurie is very kind. But they are never on the same page. * Justin’s response is untrue, and shows how disconnected he was from my case. The man I was with was NOT my daughter’s father, and that was never indicated at any point. I hired him for a civil case. I had already filed a TPO on my own unrepresented. When I refused to reconcile with my abuser he filed a felony for breaking his cell phone. The case was already dropped when he called the district attorney. He didn’t negotiate anything.

Response from owner

We represented Ms. Clowers on a TPO and criminal case. We were successful in avoiding a Petitioner to Partition the property with the father of her daughter. All of these cases took over 1.5 years and Ms. Clowers never raised any issues with my personal or professional conduct. Yes we were able to get her felony case dismissed after negotiations with the District Attorney's Office. The retainer was reduced based on all of our representations. The referral for a real estate agent was a person who I and may Cobb County Attorneys have used for many years and she obviously did a great job. Laurie, my senior paralegal, has been in my office for more than 8 years and I can guarantee we are always on the same page. I spend more time and communicate with Laurie more than I do with my wife Stephanie of 30 years. Unfortunately some clients who have multiple legal issues would rather blame the attorney than look in the mirror. For more than 30 years I have proudly practiced in Cobb and metro Atlanta.

Truly a god send! For an emergency hearing and trying to find the best lawyer I could within the span of 2 days, Mr. Wyatt was the absolute best! Very REAL and is very willing to do what he can to help, not to mention he’s a SAVAGE in court. Absolutely recommend Mr. Wyatt!

We had such a horrible experience with this man he deserves another review years later because his failure to defend my case whatsoever was catastrophic in our lives at the time. He was dismissive, deceitful and selfish we would absolutely never recommend his services. Be very careful who you decide to hire in important times in your life.

Response from owner

Mr. Viel sincerely needs to accept fault for his mistakes and stop blaming his attorney. In over 29 years of practicing law I have never seen a client who cannot move on with life and wants to continue to blame others. Very sad. Guess I will be getting this negative review on an annual basis and I will continue to respond and defend my professional reputation.

I am incredibly grateful to Justin and Laurie for standing by me at the very last minute, when there seemed to be no hope. I was broken, exhausted, confused, and unsure of what to do as my divorce trial date approached. Through God’s grace, I was able to find and reach out to Justin during one of the most difficult times of my life. From the very beginning, Justin and Laurie treated me like family. They supported me, comforted me, and listened to me for hours on the phone whenever I needed them. Despite the short time frame, they worked tirelessly, handled my case aggressively, and fought hard for me. Because of their dedication, I was given a second chance at life. Today, I am reunited with my children, able to start looking for my own home, regained my vehicle, was awarded the family business, and received 50% of the retirement. Their compassion, strength, and relentless hard work meant everything to me. I never felt alone during this process—I felt supported, heard, and protected every step of the way. Justin and Laurie truly turned my story around. They put a smile back on my face and helped me move forward with peace and confidence. Justin, knows family law , he is a genius, when Justin in action you cannot hide from him , he will expose every details that needed to be heard in the court of law. You are my lawyer my Hero —not only for me, but for many—because you never disappoint and you are always there when your clients needs you. I move forward now with grace, courage, and a smile. To anyone facing what feels like an impossible situation: don’t give up. Stay true to yourself, hold onto your truth, and fight hard—even when things seem darkest.

I called looking for a lawyer, spoke with Justin Wyatt and was insulated every second on that phone. He was extremely rude, told me I was a liar and wasting his time. I was very confused on the reason for the aggressiveness that had to be ended by hanging up the phone mid conversation. Be aware, this firm may only look for the high dollar clients. I was asked how much I make and if I knew exactly where the client I am suing, hides their money. Very weird and negative experience I also mentioned the fact that I am a business owner and don’t like leaving negative reviews on other business owners pages, he did not care and informed me they will leave a great response to this review to make it seem as if things have been worked out

Response from owner

Mr. Jackson called my office yesterday for a consultation for a false arrest and defamation case from his former employer. Our conversation lasted less than seven minutes. I told him very quickly that I did not think he had a case, but he could of course consult with any other attorney. In return he immediately said I was "rude" and then proceeded to call me<br> "d----" He threatened to leave a bad review and I promised to reply with the truth.

11/30 Laurie been great in commu Please read employment agreement carefully, ask for billing after each meeting to understand how much being charged for which task My mistake i did not ask , follow up.last day of the case i was asked to pay 8k without getting time to understand how. its impossible to review 1 year worth of billing and again I" said this vs they said" that cause you cant go back to that moment On first meeting I told I need my ex to transfer Mortagage asap and for him to pay attorney's fees for the case it took 1 year for this to get done and attorneys fees i had to pay where I was told you ll get it 10/29/2025 Reaching out to " state bar of Georgia fee arbitration committee for resolution of fee dispute" will update progress Holding of case closure asking me to pay 8 k bill see attached photo I was asked to come office on Tuesday 10/28 and got one white sheet of paper stating pay 8k additional. Did not even allow to take it woth me. I already paid 5500 as retainer never got any invoice for approval had to kept following up now refused to respond on text. I asked "As far as my fees please provide me details how 2k and 3.5k from retainer had been utilized towards contempt of court and custody modification case 1.why I was not sent invoice on respective day for approval on how much time was spent and amount charged and how much money left in retainer cause I would not have continued I had to pay more money than that" No response yet Refused to respond on text He barely gave me time, was rude on calls or even face ro face conversation. Even his staff forgot her name gave me a paper yesterday saying pay 8k was rude I will update details with more proof.if you have questions reach out to me will share emails text. There is one review from Paralegal on same situation I wish I had followed her advice3/23 I am getting more confident and feeling much assured. Had mediation yesterday and Justin was great handing it closing ik 2 hours realizing it's going nowhere. I am so greatful that I did not have to waste money and time on it this time. Hopefully this chapter gets closed in april first week in court Update 1/7/2024 I sent email on 1/6 asking why 1/8 court date was canceled , new court date and asking urgent help that father is not ready to revert Jan 8 kid responsibility back since court date is canceled but no response I sent email again on 1/7/2024 Respone from Justin He cannot give me exact estimate how much money i ll save cause of consolidated two cases We are going to mediate both cases in next 45 days If we don't settle, then we will get a court date" i had explained from day one how it's affecting my credit, financial, mental emotional situation since 2024 how badly I needed court date. Let's see what happens . I have already spent so much time and money. I was not included in any conversation communication before making decision of canceling court date and choosing mediation 45 days plus then I know will have to go for court so I ll sepnd this year also in court loosing time money as ex been threatening Frustrated sad helpless Update Jan 6th 2024 The court date was set to Jan 8 but canceled due to the attorney's conflict. Ex filed a case for equal custody (i filed a case for court contempt) and got an email that attorneys consolidated them into one. Hopefully, I will get a new date soon. It's been hard to keep up with ex' bullying behavior, Mortagage, which should have refinance by aug 2024 , manage everything,my poor baby is suffering 😔 Sent text on Monday, and he called within hours. Was quick to respond, understand the situation, provided detailed guidance, and expedited the process. Lauri had been quick in response as well, and on top of things 11/1/2024 update The process server took 10 days . Started on 23 Oct but still not done. had to call in person on the 10th day to follow up. It seems the process server tried 2 times, but no one opened the door. when one is smart enough and tries to avoid being served, let's see how it goes next. Will update once this is concluded

Archana,<br>You were asked to pay the balance of YOUR invoice for work done towards YOUR cases. <br>Attorneys, unfortunately, do not do legal work for no cost. <br>No one told you you cannot take your invoice. <br>You paid a RETAINER fee, your contract did not say it was not a flat fee and your contract clearly outlines the way charges are made towards your case. <br>We do not send invoices for APPROVAL on daily bases. <br>As far as your fees… the INVOICE we gave you clearly outlines when work was done, who did the work, how much time the task took and the amount charged. <br><br>YOU WERE GIVEN AN ITEMIZED INVOICE AND WE TRIED TO SIT WITH YOU TO EXPLAIN YOUR CHARGES AND YOU REFUSED AND INSISTED ON TALKING OVER ANYONE TRYNG TO GIVE YOU AN EXPLANATION. Bad experience. Addendum (in response to owner’s comment): Thank you for replying. To clarify, you did review a document for me and advised that it was fine to sign. Unfortunately, that advice led to negative consequences in another matter. My review reflects my honest experience with your services.

Response from owner

We understand your frustration, but leaving a bad review because we weren't able to assist isn't a fair reflection of our business.<br>We do our best to help whenever possible, and we value fairness and honesty in all feedback.

The hype is VERY real. This man is SMART, and he is SAVAGE. I was with a "flat rate" attorney and getting exactly what I paid for when Justin Wyatt was suggested to me. Justin was described as "the divorce attorney other attorneys would use." Justin took a dumpster fire high conflict divorce case and completely changed the trajectory of it. More than once, I was in tears from what Justin was able to accomplish in my case. He got me to the finish line I never thought I would see, and I can't recommend him enough!

They are very rude and impatient, I called for a consultation and the attorney was very hostile, didn’t care to listen and hung up, unfortunately they were no help for me and they’re rude customers service should be looked upon, hopefully that isn’t something that they’re known for. Smh they got to do better.

Response from owner

Thank you for your feedback. However, leaving a negative review because we were unable to assist does not accurately reflect our services. We strive to help every client when possible and appreciate understanding when we cannot.

He spent no time understanding me, my interests, or my case. All interactions with him and office staff were poor. I fired him.

Response from owner

Actually we represented Mr. White in Temporary Protective Order against him in Cobb in 2024. We withdrew from that case and he did not fire us. We also represented him in his divorce against Ms. Nicole White in Cobb in 2024. We withdrew from that case also and were not fired. Both cases are public record in Cobb. I can guarantee that communication with my staff and myself are never an issue.

I highly recommend Justin Wyatt as a family attorney. I hired him to file a contempt charge against my ex husband who had not paid child support in a year. He and his staff were always attentive, detail oriented, and quick to respond throughout the entire experience- making the process seamless and effective. They caught small mistakes in numbers and told me exactly what I could expect and represented me in the best way possible on my court date. I felt comfortable during what I thought would be an extremely unpleasant experience. They went above and beyond in so many ways and got everything they promised to do- including getting my attorney fees paid for. I have hired other family attorneys and will never hire anyone else again.

Very pleased with Wyatt Law Group regarding a third party insurance claim for property damage caused by a national retailer's appliance delivery contractor company willfully installing a damaged appliance that then caused flooding throughout my house, about which I needed some legal advice. Justin Wyatt was courteous, kind and very helpful with offering his advice and other ideas for how to approach this legal issue and potential lawsuit. Something to note that is very rare these days among law firms is that Justin Wyatt himself answered the phone when I called him on a Sunday afternoon; he didn't have some offshore answering service take the call and filter me out to where I couldn't speak with an attorney, which was really refreshing. People always want to speak with the legal expert when they call, be it the attorney or the attorney's seasoned paralegal. I am positively shocked in a good way that the attorney himself picked up the phone on a Sunday, and listened to the details of my case to go through various options I have legally for this issue, and offered advice before an engagement agreement was even signed. Very pleased and would recommend Justin Wyatt for legal services to anyone in Metro Atlanta or Cobb County (Marietta or Kennesaw, Acworth, Smyrna, Mableton, Austell, etc). You'll actually get to speak with him, as opposed to most other law firms that try to filter out potential clients with the use of a foreign/offshore answering service. Thanks Justin!

Justin and his staff were very helpful in resolving my legal issues, and expertly represented me through the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing legal help in Cobb County and the State of Georgia.

I am very thankful to Justin, Jodi, and the rest of the team for making my case run so smoothly and easily. I came here based on a recommendation, and am so glad that I did! Justin and Jodi handled my case so well. It was resolved very smoothly, quite quickly, and for a very fair rate. I'd certainly recommend them to those looking for a knowledgeable and very capable legal team.

I am beyond grateful for Mr. Wyatt and his team’s support and representation in my divorce case. Mr. Wyatt picked up my case and was knowledgeable and fair. He was beyond fair with fees. He was also direct and informative about my entire case, as requested. Most importantly, Mr. Wyatt cared and believed me and fought for my daughterully and tactfully while focusing on the facts and not the emotions many divorces inevitably bri and me respectfng. I can’t recommend anyone else.

Response to Justin Wyatt’s Reply to my Previous Review: Mr. Wyatt, I hired you on April 30th with a payment plan. I paid in full by July 25th, well ahead of our August 23rd hearing. As a paralegal myself, I know this was ample time to prepare, present critical evidence, and effectively represent my case. Let me be clear in response to your statement ""it probably was in the best interests of the two very small boys." The exact opposite has occurred, my children have suffered due to your lack of preparation and failure to present key evidence given to you, including their father’s history of drug use, violent behavior, and neglect of their emotional and developmental needs. 1. Failure to Present Key Evidence That Affected the Case Outcome A. Drug Use and Substance Abuse: I gave you proof of my ex’s admitted drug use, including his admission to using ecstasy the night before court. This was directly relevant to his suitability as a primary custodian, yet it was ignored in court. B. Domestic Violence Documentation: I provided clear, organized documentation of the domestic violence I endured, including photographs. You dismissed this critical evidence, leaving the judge with an incomplete picture of the risks to my children. C. Financial and Stability Evidence: I shared records demonstrating my ex’s financials and you decided to waste time on admiring his career during the trial, in which you called him amazing, praised his career and called him a good parent... 2. Adverse Impact on My Children Due to Your Negligence Since the custody decision, my children have suffered significant setbacks: A. Educational Regression: My oldest son, who previously knew 70% of the alphabet, has regressed significantly. Teachers have documented this regression, which I attribute directly to the abrupt and destabilizing custody shift. B. Lack of Support in Activities and Therapy: Before your negligent representation, my children were consistently attending activities like swim, karate, and therapy. Even though I lived far and had no transportation. He has completely removed them from their activities. And now the only access to diversity my 5 year old had is gone and he just told me he doesn't like being black and it is out of my control. C. Emotional Distress: I had a panic attack after meeting with a teacher, who raised serious concerns about my son’s behavior and well-being. This has not only impacted my children’s health but also my own mental health due to the stress of seeing them struggle without proper support and my hands being tied. 3. Pattern of Unprofessionalism and Mismanagement Dismissive Responses to Clients: Just as you did with me, numerous reviews reveal a pattern of dismissing clients, failing to prepare, and not communicating effectively. You seem to dismiss clients once payment is received, with several reviewers noting that they had to basically represent themselves. Disregard for Ethical Standards: When I was in tears, distressed after the trial, you left abruptly, saying only, “I don’t know what happened; you acted so ignorant,” before rushing to another meeting. Thats it. I am an intelligent, dedicated mother who now works at a law firm. I am not someone you can dismiss or intimidate. I will continue pursuing accountability, and I am prepared to see this through until you are held to the standards of the American Bar Association. I've been silent for months because I was preparing... People please look at my other review describing what occurred. You had your chance to help, now I won't rest until this is rectified ... a bar complaint is not all coming your way. I have grounds for a legal malpractice claim as well. I have ample evidence that your actions fell below the standard of care expected in your profession and that those actions directly caused us harm. Law is about justice and based off of the 12 other clients I have collected that have similar experiences as me... you sir will finally have met your match. Please expect everything I'm talking about to be coming your way this month.
