I rarely leave reviews, but this experience requires transparency. My recent transaction involving Yolanda as the representing attorney for my seller client was handled with a concerning lack of diligence, communication, and professional oversight. From contract to closing, there was minimal urgency and little evidence of structured file management. Earnest money coordination was unnecessarily delayed and required repeated follow-up. Basic transactional milestones were not proactively managed. At one point, it became clear that the buyer did not have proper legal structure or coordination in place — something that should have been identified and addressed immediately by counsel. Communication was reactive rather than directive. Deadlines were not clearly controlled, and key steps in the process required intervention from parties outside her role. Title coordination for closing lacked organization and leadership, resulting in avoidable confusion and inefficiency. Throughout the transaction, I found myself stepping into responsibilities that typically fall within the attorney’s scope — ensuring compliance, clarifying contractual terms, and pushing the file forward to prevent collapse. That should not be necessary in a professionally managed transaction. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend her services. Respectfully.
Not easy to work with.
Attentive and returned calls right away.
She was great with closing on a house I bought.
A super good lawyer with a lot of experience and a great team, she always fights for the best, whether buying or selling houses. 1000% recommended.
She didn’t answer the phone and didn’t return the voicemail. She was recommended to me and I guess she didn’t want the business.
She helped us with the purchase of our house. Both she and her team were very professional and always available to answer my phone calls. I highly recommend her.
Excellent established Attorney. great staff and bilingual . highly recommend!
I would not recommend this attorney. She worked with the sellers of our recent home purchase. She is constantly making mistakes and never owning up to them. During our closing she actually blamed the village surveyor for forgetting to do the survey instead of admitting the appointment was never made. Our window treatments were removed from the property against contract terms, and it took two weeks to get them back. She is disorganized, an undesirable trait when looking for an attorney.
